Please mark your calendars for REALTOR® Day at the Texas Capitol on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. The day will begin with a group photo at 10:20 a.m., followed by a rally at 10:30 a.m. on the South side of the Capitol. The Longview Area Association of REALTORS® and Texas REALTORS® invite you to join us at the Capitol, where we will meet with legislators to discuss issues affecting private property owners and the real estate industry. LAAR encourages all members to attend and demonstrate to legislators the importance REALTORS® place on these issues. This session, your Texas legislators will be discussing key challenges, including property taxes, school finance reform, HOA reform, and more. A BBQ lunch provided by Pok-e-Jo's will be held at the Texas REALTORS® building at 1115 San Jacinto Blvd., just East of the Capitol. Please join us for the Open House festivities on the 2nd floor and meet the Texas REALTORS® staff. Please confirm your attendance with LAAR staff to reserve your lunch ticket by March 6th 2025.
